Navitas Hosts Agent Meet for University of Portsmouth and International College Portsmouth

EDUCAST, Navitas is set to host an Agent Meet for the University of Portsmouth and International College Portsmouth (ICP) on July 4, from 11 AM to 2 PM. This event aims to inform agents about the extensive offerings of the university, covering a wide range of courses, scholarships, and entry requirements for students.

Anamika Saxena, Regional Recruitment Adviser at the University of Portsmouth, will present on the diverse academic programs available, designed to cater to various interests and career aspirations. She will also detail the scholarship opportunities available to support international students financially. Additionally, Saxena will outline specific entry requirements, ensuring agents are well-prepared to guide prospective students through the application process.

Kezia Hall, Student Recruitment Manager at International College Portsmouth (ICP), will highlight ICP’s unique pathways to the University of Portsmouth. She will emphasize personalized student support and diverse program options, underscoring the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and career readiness. Hall will also showcase ICP’s vibrant campus life and the cultural richness of the city of Portsmouth, enhancing students’ overall educational experience.

Manish Thapa, Student Recruitment Manager for University Partnership Europe at Navitas, will inform agents about the extensive network of partner universities across Europe. He will highlight the unique benefits and academic pathways available to international students, emphasizing the strong support systems in place to ensure academic and social success.

Shristy Bhattarai, Regional Director (Nepal & Bhutan) of Navitas, will discuss the comprehensive range of foundation and pathway programs designed to prepare students for successful university studies. She will elaborate on the tailored support services and resources provided by Navitas, which help students achieve their academic and career aspirations.

The University of Portsmouth and ICP have set entry criteria for various academic levels. For Year 0, a minimum GPA of 2.00 (old system: grade C, 45%) or equivalent qualifications are required. Year 1 for Business and Accounting and Science and Engineering requires a GPA of 3.00 (old system: grade B, 55-65%) or equivalent. Year 2 and Pre-Masters require relevant bachelor’s degree completions with specified percentages. English proficiency must be demonstrated with IELTS scores of 5.5 for Year 0 and Year 1, and 6.0 for Pre-Masters, or equivalent tests like PTE and Duolingo.
