    Autistic Students Shine at Tihar Mela: A Celebration of Skills and Talent by the Centre for Autism

    EDUCAST, In a celebration of creativity and talent, the Center for Autism recently concluded its vibrant Tihar Mela, held on the school’s premises. The event brought together students, parents, and faculty, with a variety of entertaining activities and stalls arranged to bring joy and excitement to all attendees. The Mela, a highlight of the season, was designed to provide an inclusive environment where students of all abilities could showcase their talents and enjoy the festive spirit of Tihar.

    The fair featured an array of engaging activities, including carnival boat rides, food stalls, bake-and-sell counters, and an arts and crafts section. Each stall was uniquely crafted to attract the attention of students and parents alike, and participants enjoyed testing their skills in the various games offered. The bake-and-sell stall, operated by students with the assistance of their teachers, was a crowd favorite, and parents praised the students’ culinary efforts.

    A standout element of the Mela was the art and craft display, featuring materials and products made by the students at the Center for Autism. Parents and visitors were given the opportunity to view and purchase these creative pieces, which ranged from handmade decorations to colorful paintings.
