Dr. Vijita Aggarwal: Thank you, Sunil. The vision of our university is to be a globally recognized center of excellence, not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities. We focus on a holistic approach—identifying and nurturing students’ unique competencies. When students graduate from GGSIPU, they emerge as well-rounded professionals, ready to contribute meaningfully to their respective fields.

Host: Maintaining global standards in education is a challenge. What kind of international collaborations does GGSIPU have to help students enhance their professional careers?

Dr. Vijita Aggarwal: GGSIPU is accredited with an A++ rating, the highest in India. We recently received the QS Rising Star award, recognizing our significant improvement in global rankings. We are ranked 81st in South Asia.

Regarding collaborations, we partner with top universities worldwide. Some of our key academic collaborations include:

• Murdoch University, Australia
• Glasgow University, UK
• ISEP, France
• Several top Russian universities, including Yuri Gagarin State Technical University

Dr. Vijita Aggarwal: Although we are not officially part of this roadshow, I have been invited to address the inaugural session. I am very excited about this opportunity.

Host: Many Nepali students return home after completing their education in India. Can you share some career success stories of Nepali students from GGSIPU?

Dr. Vijita Aggarwal: Absolutely. Around 70% of our international students are from Nepal. Here are a few success stories:

• Sandeep Gupta (MBA graduate) – Now a celebrity photographer in the UK.
• Pooja Amatya (International Business graduate) – Runs an import-export business in Nepal.
• Regan Timilsina (IT graduate) – Thriving in the Indian tech industry with a high-paying job.

Nepali students find India a natural choice due to cultural similarities, language, and lifestyle, making their transition smooth.

Host: Scholarships are a major consideration for students. What are the scholarship opportunities for Nepali students at GGSIPU?

Dr. Vijita Aggarwal: The Indian government offers multiple scholarships, including:

• ICCR Scholarships (Opening next month)
• Study in India Scholarships
• Ministry and Embassy-funded scholarships
