    The university is Australia’s first dual-sector university and the only university based in the Northern Territory, a fact of which it is immensely proud, according to Associate Prof Niusha Shafi Abady.     According to Penelope Sweeting, Associate Vice Chancellor Sydney Region, the college provides rental support and guidance in report writing. Penelope Sweeting said that studying and completing the degree is a life-changing experience, CDU has been facilitating students to make the most of the experience. CDU offers up to a 30% fee reduction scholarship for the full duration of most programs. In addition, one does not need to repay the scholarship back, allowing one to concentrate more time on studies.

    According to Cheryl Brennan, Regional Marketing Manager- degrees at the university focus on preparing students for the workplace by providing theoretical knowledge, practical interdisciplinary skills, and professional experience opportunities. CDU Sydney has been offering personalized and one-on-one support for all international students including, the English bridging program, Careers service, Student Counselling, Mentor Program, Access and Inclusion Advisor and Study workshops. Apart from this, international students can meet locals easily and feel special as individuals, rather than in numbers.
