    EDUCAST, upGrad Global Study Partners (GSP) recently organized a highly successful Nepal Partners Meet & Networking Event 2024 at the Himalaya Hall. The event, held on Monday, 5th February 2024, witnessed a gathering of esteemed professionals and key stakeholders in the education sector.

    Under the patronage of Mr. Anil Shrestha, Country Director – Nepal, the event commenced with a warm welcome, setting the tone for a day filled with informative discussions and networking opportunities. Keynote remarks were delivered by Mr. Ali Butt, Chief Growth Officer at GSP Corporate Head Office, shedding light on the organization’s strategic vision and future endeavors.

    One of the highlights of the event was a comprehensive presentation by Christina Kansakar, Business Pursuit Manager at British Council Nepal, providing valuable information into collaborative opportunities in the education domain.

    During the Institution Partners Presentation Session, representatives from renowned educational institutions showcased their expertise and offerings. Nitin Dahiya, Country Manager of Nepal University of Tasmania, Rabishma RL Shah, Marketing & Recruitment Officer for Nepal & Bangladesh for UTS College, highlighted the institution’s outreach strategies. Netra Koirala, Business Development Manager at University of Canada West, shared information into the institution’s academic programs and partnerships. Phurbu Tashi Lama, Assistant Recruitment Manager at SCU Global, presented on recruitment initiatives and collaborations. Sapana Thapaliya, International Recruitment Manager at ECA, offered valuable information into international recruitment strategies. Kiran Khanal, Marketing Manager of Nepal Canterbury Education Group, discussed marketing approaches for educational programs. Supriya Chitrakar, Business Development Manager at University of Niagara Falls, shed light on partnership opportunities. Pankaj Choudhary, representing the University of West of Scotland, provided an overview of the institution’s academic offerings and global engagement efforts.

    During the GSP Team Presentation Session, dynamic professionals showcased their expertise in fostering educational partnerships across various regions. Trisha Manandhar, serving as the Business Development Manager for Australia & New Zealand, highlighted strategic initiatives aimed at expanding GSP’s presence in the region. Suryadeep Ghatane, in his role as the Business Development Manager for the US & Canada, shared information into collaborative efforts and market trends. Pankaj Choudhry, representing the UK & Ireland, provided valuable perspectives on forging partnerships and enhancing engagement in the region. Bandana Rana, serving as the Conversion Manager at GSP Nepal, shared strategies for maximizing conversion rates and ensuring seamless transitions within the GSP ecosystem.

    Further enriching the event were additional presentations by industry experts, including Shruti Bista from The Hotel School, and ATMC’s Business Development Manager – Narayan Gautam, contributing to the multifaceted discourse on education and collaboration.

    A standout moment of the event was the screening of “GSP-Our Difference,” a compelling video clip presentation by Ms. Elaine Starkey, Chief Executive Officer at GSP, highlighting the organization’s unique value proposition and commitment to excellence.

    The event concluded on a high note with the recognition and certificate distribution ceremony, honoring institution partners and recruitment partners for their outstanding contributions and dedication to advancing education initiatives in Nepal.
