EDUCAST, On July 4, University of Portsmouth and International College Portsmouth (ICP) in association with Navitas successfully hosted an Agent Meet from 11 AM to 2 PM. The event aimed to inform agents about the extensive offerings of the university, including a wide range of courses, scholarships, and entry requirements for students.
Anamika Saxena, Regional Recruitment Adviser at the University of Portsmouth, presented on the diverse academic programs available, designed to cater to various interests and career goals. She detailed the scholarship opportunities available to financially support international students and outlined specific entry requirements, ensuring agents are well-prepared to guide prospective students through the application process.
Kezia Hall, Student Recruitment Manager at ICP, highlighted ICP’s unique pathways to the University of Portsmouth. The University of Portsmouth and ICP have set entry criteria for various academic levels. For Year 0, a minimum GPA of 2.00 (old system: grade C, 45%) or equivalent qualifications is required. Year 1 for Business and Accounting and Science and Engineering requires a GPA of 3.00 (old system: grade B, 55-65%) or equivalent. Year 2 and Pre-Masters require relevant bachelor’s degree completions with specified percentages. English proficiency must be demonstrated with IELTS scores of 5.5 for Year 0 and Year 1, and 6.0 for Pre-Masters, or equivalent tests like PTE and Duolingo.
