SMS Education Services Hosts PTE & IELTS Session with Pearson and British Council Representatives

EDUCAST, SMS Education Services is thrilled to announce a two-day event dedicated to PTE (Pearson Test of English) preparation & IELTS, featuring prominent figures from Pearson and the British Council.

On August 8, 2024, SMS Education Services hosted a focused session on the PTE test with Suman Krishna Shrestha, the Pearson Regional Development Manager for Nepal and Bhutan. This session provided detailed insights into the PTE test format, scoring, and effective preparation strategies, offering participants the opportunity to interact directly with a key figure from Pearson.

The following day, August 9, 2024, the program continued with an engaging session led by Rubina Shakya, the Accounts Relationship Officer from the British Council. Rubina’s presentation covered test administration, support services, and additional resources available for IELTS.

In addition to these expert-led sessions, Rajkumar Subedi, the Nepal Branch Director of SMS Education Services, delivered a keynote address, highlighting the importance of IELTS & PTE in advancing educational and professional opportunities.

Bishwo Kumar Karki, the SMS PTE and IELTS instructor, mentioned that they would be incorporating new ideas and insights from guest speakers affiliated with the British Council and Pearson into their PTE and IELTS sessions. He also noted that SMS Education would be organizing these innovative events regularly to enhance the learning experience.

The event was designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills for IELTS & PTE preparation, including interactive discussions and practical exercises. Attendees also had the chance to win exciting prizes, adding an extra layer of enthusiasm to the sessions.
