PABSON to Host Third International Educational Conference on Mangsir 14-15 in Kathmandu

    EDUCAST, November 29-30 (Mangsir 14-15) will see the third International Educational Conference organized by PABSON at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kathmandu. PABSON announced this at a press conference held in Kathmandu on Monday.

    The conference will bring together leading figures in the education sector, including school founders, principals, educational directors, and prominent teachers. PABSON Secretary General RB Katwal stated that the main objectives of the conference include discussing ways to improve school standards, enhance classroom environments, develop educational leadership, and make student-teacher educational activities more effective.

    According to PABSON’s statement, esteemed speakers from leading educational countries such as Finland and the UK will present their experiences and successful educational models. The conference will be facilitated by the Nepalese government’s Ministry of Education and the British Council, which is expected to make it more effective and results-oriented.

    Participants from Bhutan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, and Vietnam will also join the conference. Over 12 sessions will feature discussions on various educational topics, policy debates, and the exploration of effective measures for school improvement. Additionally, significant suggestions will be presented regarding school management, teacher training, and strengthening educational leadership.

    Kumar Thapa, PABSON’s advisor, emphasized the importance of the conference, stating, “This event will play a crucial role in providing international-level education in Nepal and establishing the country as an educational destination.” He expressed hope that Nepali students would not need to go abroad for studies and could obtain high-quality education within Nepal.

    This conference aims to offer new perspectives and solutions for educational reform.
