GEDU Partners Meet 2024 Highlighted New Vision for Education in Kathmandu

    EDUCAST,  The GEDU Global Education Partners Meet 2024 successfully took place at the prestigious Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu, Nepal, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the future of education. With the theme of “Shaping the Future of Education,” the event was attended by prominent leaders and representatives from various institutions. The highlight of the event was a special address by Dr. Vishwajeet Rana, CEO of GEDU, who emphasized the organization’s mission to create lasting impact through education.

    Dr. Rana spoke passionately about GEDU’s commitment to providing quality educational opportunities and the importance of strategic collaborations to ensure student success. He also outlined GEDU’s future plans for expanding its footprint in South Asia, particularly in Nepal, to meet the growing demand for international education. In recognition of the vital role played by educational agents and partners, GEDU honored all participating agents during a special ceremony. The recognition was a gesture of appreciation for their dedication and efforts in helping students connect with international educational opportunities. Dr. Rana personally acknowledged the agents’ hard work and contributions, noting that they are key drivers in GEDU’s vision to foster a thriving educational ecosystem.

    The event featured other esteemed speakers, including Jyoti Bhel, Destination Manager at Schiller and EMA, who discussed the global educational offerings of Schiller University. Bhel highlighted the university’s focus on interdisciplinary education that equips students for the challenges of the global economy.

    Rajesh CP, another key speaker, provided insights on Destination and its critical role in GEDU’s conversion process. He emphasized the importance of collaborations in the education sector to support students pursuing international academic experiences. Key GEDU executives, including Kuber Kapoor, Head of SAARC, and Chitransh Sinha, Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Nepal, also contributed to the discussions, focusing on strengthening partnerships with educational institutions and agents.

    Their presentations and a Q&A session offered valuable perspectives on GEDU’s strategic plans to expand access to education and improve the student experience through innovative partnerships. The event provided ample networking opportunities, allowing attendees to share ideas, build connections, and discuss the evolving educational landscape in Nepal and beyond. The evening concluded with a grand dinner, where participants continued to engage in meaningful conversations about the future of education.
