EDUCAST, Machhapuchhre IB World School recently organized a vibrant celebration for Tihar, highlighting the traditional festivities of Deusi-Bhailo, Bhai Tika, and Mha Puja. The event showcased students dressed in their unique, cultural attire, marking a strong emphasis on the diversity of traditional Nepali clothing.
With a notable turnout, students were given an engaging introduction to various rituals associated with Mha Puja and Bhai Tika, along with an in-depth explanation of their cultural significance. Principal Homnath Acharya shared insights with the students on Tihar’s religious and cultural importance, fostering a greater appreciation for these traditions among the young attendees.
Furthermore, Binita Bista, the school’s Primary Years Program (PYP) Coordinator, expressed her gratitude towards everyone involved in successfully organizing the event. She highlighted that the celebration aimed to help the young students understand the value of their culture from an early age.
