Bizz Education Hosted Meet and Greet Event of University of Central Lancashire Successfully

    EDUCAST,  The highly anticipated “Meet and Greet” event featuring the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and its Director of International Recruitment, Ms. Ula Tang Plowman, was successfully held at the Yak and Yeti Hotel. Organized by BIZZ Education, the event brought together educational stakeholders, media representatives, and prospective students to foster a deeper understanding of UCLan’s academic offerings and its ongoing collaborations in Nepal.

    The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Rekha Negi Lama, Office Manager of BIZZ Education and a proud UCLan graduate. In her address, she extended heartfelt greetings to the attendees, reflecting on her own academic journey at UCLan and its role in shaping her professional career. Ms. Lama highlighted the significance of the partnership between BIZZ Education and UCLan in creating life-changing opportunities for Nepali students.

    Following this, a short but impactful video showcased the journey of BIZZ Education and UCLan, illustrating their shared vision, achievements, and future goals. The video resonated with the audience, providing a visual narrative of the partnership’s milestones.

    Ms. Ula Tang Plowman, Director of International Recruitment at UCLan, then shared her perspectives on UCLan’s global outreach, its support for international students, and the university’s tailored programs for Nepali students. Her address emphasized UCLan’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering a supportive environment for its diverse student community.

    A key highlight of the event was a panel discussion moderated by Ms. Sadikshya Shrestha, who facilitated an engaging dialogue among education experts. The panel delved into critical topics such as student visa policies, the academic performance of Nepali students in the UK, and potential opportunities for future Nepal-UK educational partnerships. The interactive discussion provided valuable insights to both students and stakeholders.

    The event also included an interactive Q&A session with media personnel, where pertinent questions regarding UCLan’s offerings and support systems were addressed.

    As the event drew to a close, the Chairperson of BIZZ Education, Mr. Hari Karki, delivered the concluding remarks.
