    EDUCAST, The International Career Counseling Center (ICCC) recently organized a Study in Canada Pre-Departure Session at their Putalisadak office, Kathmandu. The event was designed to provide valuable guidance to Nepali students embarking on their educational journey to Canada. It covered updates on Canadian education policies, travel tips, and the support services offered by ICCC. The program brought together students, counselors, and experts, creating an engaging platform to address students’ concerns and prepare them for life in Canada.

    Welcome Speech by ICCC Chairman Ram Khadka

    The session began with a warm welcome by Mr. Ram Khadka, Chairman of ICCC. In his address, he emphasized the importance of preparing students for a smooth transition into their new academic environment in Canada. Mr. Khadka also highlighted the latest changes in Canadian education policies, such as updates in visa regulations, post-graduation work permit (PGWP) extensions, and new measures aimed at supporting international students.

    Following the Chairman’s address, Ms. Sharmila Adhikari, Senior Counselor at ICCC, conducted an in-depth pre-departure session. Her presentation covered essential travel tips, cultural adaptation strategies, and practical advice for living in Canada.

    Ms. Adhikary explained the steps students should follow before departure, such as organizing their documents, booking flights, and preparing for initial expenses.     IELTS and PTE Preparation Tips by Instructor Suraj Moktan Tamang

    One of the highlights of the event was a session by Mr. Suraj Moktan Tamang, an experienced IELTS and PTE instructor at ICCC. He provided valuable test preparation tips and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong English proficiency to excel in Canadian academic institutions.
