Lakehead University Hosts Successful Agent Workshop in Kathmandu

    EDUCAST,  Lakehead University, Canada, successfully conducted its Agent Workshop at the prestigious Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, bringing together educational consultants and representatives from Nepal to discuss strategies for promoting international education opportunities. The event was led by Robert Perrier, Interim Vice Provost International and Director of International Enrolment, and Garima Narang, Regional Manager for South Asia.

    The program commenced promptly at 5:00 pm NPT, following a warm check-in at 4:30 pm. With a focus on strengthening partnerships, the workshop provided valuable updates about Lakehead University’s enrollment criteria, academic programs, and support services tailored for Nepali students. Key discussions highlighted the university’s flexible admission pathways, scholarship opportunities, and the significance of fostering student success through tailored support systems.

    Engaging sessions featured open conversations between the Lakehead University team and local education consultants. This collaboration underscored Lakehead’s commitment to enhancing global education access and ensuring that Nepali students thrive academically and personally in Canada.

    To honor the participating partners, certificates of appreciation were distributed at the conclusion of the workshop. “We are thrilled with the strong turnout and the fruitful discussions we’ve had with our partners in Nepal,” said Robert Perrier. “Nepal is an important region for us, and this workshop reflects our dedication to supporting students on their academic journey.”

    Participants expressed enthusiasm about the event, praising the comprehensive insights into Lakehead University’s offerings and the interactive sessions. Garima Narang added, “Our collaboration with educational consultants in Nepal is vital in helping students achieve their dreams of studying abroad, and we are grateful for their unwavering support.”
