ICCC Successfully Organizes ‘Canada Summit 2025’ in Kathmandu

    EDUCAST, The International Career Counseling Center (ICCC), Nepal’s most trusted and experienced consultancy for Canadian education, successfully hosted the ‘Canada Summit 2025’ at its Putalisadak office on Thursday. The event, held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, provided a platform for over 200 aspiring Nepali students to resolve their queries about studying in Canada and interact directly with representatives from renowned Canadian educational institutions.

    Students had the opportunity to engage with representatives from Centennial College, Lakehead University, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Durham College, Seneca Polytechnic, and Georgian College. They received valuable insights on visa processes, scholarship opportunities, and academic planning from the experts.

    Unique Features of Participating Institutions

    • Centennial College: Known for its applied learning approach, Centennial College emphasized its industry-aligned programs and strong co-op placements, providing students with a seamless transition from education to employment.
    • Lakehead University: Representatives highlighted the university’s smaller class sizes and personalized academic support, along with its strong research focus in areas like environmental studies and indigenous education.
    • SAIT: Specializing in technical education, SAIT presented its cutting-edge facilities and demand-driven programs in engineering, business, and IT, making it a top choice for hands-on learners.
    • Durham College: The college showcased its innovative curriculum in emerging fields like artificial intelligence and data analytics, coupled with comprehensive student support services.
    • Seneca Polytechnic: With a focus on flexibility, Seneca Polytechnic described its multiple pathways for students, including transfer options and online learning programs, making higher education more accessible.
    • Georgian College: Known for its work-integrated learning model, Georgian College highlighted its extensive internship opportunities and partnerships with leading companies in Canada.

     

    Organizers and Participants Speak
    ICCC Managing Director Ram Khadka expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating, “This summit provided students with direct interaction with representatives of prestigious institutions, helping them chart a clearer path for their Canadian education journey.” He added that the detailed guidance on visa processes, scholarships, and career planning made the event highly impactful.

    Participating students praised the summit for offering authentic insights into Canadian education. “Unlike many consultancies that merely encourage students to go abroad, ICCC prepared us with a realistic understanding of Canada’s academic landscape,” a student shared.

    Institutional representatives also appreciated the high level of interest and preparedness among Nepali students. One representative remarked, “The enthusiasm and engagement of the students exceeded our expectations, and ICCC’s excellent management made our interactions smooth and productive.”
