International Education Showcase 1.0: Advocating Global Opportunities for Students

    EDUCAST, Education Matters successfully organized the International Education Showcase 1.0 at the Hotel Hardik Building, Bagbazar, Kathmandu. The event, which ran from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, brought together representatives from various renowned universities and institutions from across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

    Event was inaugurated by the President of ECAN Mr. Seshraj Bhattarai and the executive of ECAN including General Secretary Mr. Deepak Bhusal participated in this event.

    Notable representatives included:

    • Suman Shrestha, BDC Nepal and Bhutan, Pearson PTE.
    • Tarun Jethwani, Senior BDM, Britts Imperial University College, Dubai.
    • Rhaul Thapa, BDM, upGrad GSP.
    • Nisha Bhattrai, Representative, INUNI Global (Concordia University Chicago & Herzing University Atlanta).
    • Geeta Rajbahak, Marketing Manager, NAPS.
    • Melina Pandey, Representative, Huston-Tillotson University, Texas, USA.
    • Dinesh Alwani, South Asian Representative, Park University, USA.
    • Netra Koirala, Representative, University Canada West.

    The event featured informative sessions where university representatives advocated for their respective institutions, sharing insights about academic programs, campus facilities, scholarships, and career opportunities. They emphasized the global exposure and support systems available to international students.

    Dr. Draj Dhital, on behalf of Education Matters, expressed gratitude to all participating representatives for their valuable contributions to the event. “This platform not only introduces students to international education but also provides direct access to expert guidance and diverse learning opportunities abroad,” he said.

    The International Education Showcase 1.0 proved to be a successful milestone, bridging the gap between Nepali students and world-class educational institutions.
