It was a memorable occasion celebrating excellence, leadership, and remarkable accomplishments!On February 11, 2025, the International Education Representatives’ Initiative of Nepal (IERIN) hosted a distinguished Appreciation Program at Aranya Boutique Hotel, Naagpokhari, Kathmandu. The event celebrated the exceptional achievements of its esteemed members.

The program honored Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma for his appointment as the Honorary Consul of Nepal for New South Wales (NSW), Australia. This prestigious role reflects his unwavering dedication to strengthening Nepal-Australia relations. Mr. Sharma has been instrumental in promoting tourism, technology transfer, and investment in sectors such as hydropower and infrastructure development in Nepal. He has also advocated for investment in Nepal’s tourism and hospitality sectors, exemplified by his company, Rara Holdings, signing an agreement to operate a four-star resort in the Rara Lake area of Mugu district during a recent investment summit.

The event also recognized Mr. Khem Raj Sangroula, Nepal Director of Expert Education & Visa Services and a valued IERIN member, for his extraordinary expedition to Antarctica. This remarkable journey marks a rare and inspiring achievement within the Nepalese community.
