Kathmandu/Janakpurdham, Feb 19 – The consultant meeting of HRIT University, located in Ghaziabad, India, was successfully held in both Kathmandu and Janakpurdham. The first phase of the event took place at Everest Hotel in Kathmandu, where it was inaugurated by Dr. Anil Agrawal, Chancellor of HRIT University and a former parliamentarian, along with Khagendra Acharya, Associate Dean of the School of Management and Associate Professor of English at Kathmandu University.
During the Kathmandu program, Gambhir Bhagat spoke about the strengths of the Indian education system, while Sanjiv Singh, Managing Director of OM Educational Group Pvt. Ltd., shared insights on the positive experiences of Nepalese students at HRIT University.
The second phase of the consultant meeting was held in Janakpurdham, organized by the Janakpur Educational Consultancy Association (JECA), with participation from various education professionals.
At the Janakpurdham event, HRIT University’s Chief Administrative Officer, Samriddhi Tyagi, stated that HRIT University remains a top choice for Nepalese students, offering them various facilities and support. She further announced that, upon the recommendation of Provincial Assembly Member Ramashish Yadav, the university would provide a full scholarship to one underprivileged and meritorious student every year.
The event was attended by Provincial Assembly Member Yadav, Registrar of Rajarshi Janak University Satyanarayan Sah, Dean Dr. Nagendra Katuwal, and Education Committee Member of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City, Deepak Thakur, among others. MP Yadav emphasized the need for the Nepalese government to prioritize education through special policies and initiatives.
The program also featured an enchanting performance of Maithili songs and dances by artists from the Mithila Natya Kala Parishad.
