International Career Counseling Center (ICCC) Commences New Year with Blood Donation Program

In a heartwarming start to the New Year, the International Career Counseling Center (ICCC) organized a blood donation program in collaboration with the Nepal Medical College (NMC) Blood Bank. The event, held to mark the onset of the new year, witnessed an impressive turnout with 75 individuals generously donating blood.

Directed by Ram Khadka, ICCC stands as a beacon of educational counseling, particularly for Nepali students aspiring to pursue studies in Canada. However, on this occasion, the center expanded its scope beyond educational pursuits to contribute meaningfully to society through this altruistic initiative.

Amit Shrestha, the manager of ICCC, emphasized the organization’s commitment to both educational counseling and social responsibility. He highlighted that while ICCC is renowned for facilitating Nepali students’ journeys to Canadian institutions, it recognizes the importance of integrating into the broader societal fabric. Shrestha articulated, “We started this new year by doing social work. In addition to this, we have been doing all the work of educational counseling.”

The blood donation program underscores ICCC’s ethos of giving back to the community and fostering a culture of altruism among its stakeholders.
