EDUCAST, upGrad GSP Nepal successfully organized the Partners Meet & Networking Event 2024 on August 25 at Hotel Himalaya, Kathmandu. The event brought together key stakeholders from the education sector to discuss collaborative opportunities and foster stronger partnerships.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Anil Shrestha, Country Director for Nepal, who highlighted the importance of collaboration in expanding educational opportunities for students in Nepal. He emphasized the role of upGrad GSP in bridging the gap between institutions and learners, ensuring access to quality education.
Keynote remarks were delivered by Mr. Ali Butt, Chief Growth Officer at upGrad GSP Corporate Head Office, who underscored the rapid growth of upGrad GSP in the region. Mr. Butt spoke about the organization’s vision to empower learners through innovative educational solutions and the critical role that partners play in achieving this mission.
The event featured presentations from several institutional partners. Mr. Shahinul Islam, Country Representative for Bangladesh & Nepal at Western Sydney International, shared insights into the university’s offerings and its commitment to supporting Nepali students. Ms. Aprajita Malla, Regional Partner Manager-Subcontinent at Flinders University, discussed the university’s focus on fostering research and academic excellence. Representing UTS College, Ms. Rakshya Karmacharya, Regional Representative, highlighted the college’s pathway programs and their significance for students aiming to pursue higher education in Australia. Mr. Pankaj Choudhary, Business Development Manager at upGrad GSP Nepal, presented on behalf of the University of Europe for Applied Science (UE), detailing the institution’s innovative programs and global reach.
The event concluded with a recognition and certificate distribution ceremony, where institution partners and recruitment partners were honored for their contributions and collaboration with upGrad GSP Nepal. The formal proceedings were followed by a networking session, allowing participants to engage in meaningful discussions and explore future collaboration opportunities.
