    EDUCAST, Professional Education Consultancy (PEC) proudly announced the appointment of Miss Indu Barma, Captain of the Nepal Women’s Cricket Team, as its new brand ambassador during a press conference held at Hotel Vivanta, Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur. The event was attended by dignitaries, sports officials, and media representatives, marking a significant moment for both the consultancy and Nepalese sports.

    The press conference began with a welcome speech by Mr. Krishna Shrestha, Director of PEC, who highlighted the consultancy’s 31-year journey and its contributions to youth development through education and sports. He emphasized PEC’s commitment to empowering young people and the pivotal role it has played in promoting education and sports over the years.

    A key moment of the event was the signing and exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PEC and Miss Indu Barma. This partnership reflects PEC’s dedication to inspiring the youth by promoting sports and supporting influential role models like Miss Barma.

    Paras Khadka, former captain of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), also spoke at the event, sharing his insights on the rising influence of women’s cricket in Nepal and the importance of collaborations like this in furthering the sport’s development.

    Miss Indu Barma shared her personal journey and expressed her vision to inspire young athletes, to pursue their dreams with determination and resilience.

    The event concluded with remarks from Mr. Raju Singh, Program Director of PEC, who discussed the ongoing efforts of the consultancy in supporting and promoting women in sports. He encouraged other businesses to follow suit in contributing to the empowerment of women in Nepal.
