EDUCAST, The Royal Thai Embassy in Kathmandu is set to host the ‘Thai Film Festival Nepal 2024’ from August 30 to September 1, marking the fourth edition of the festival in Nepal. The event, which will be held at QFX, aims to strengthen ties between Thailand and Nepal through the medium of film.
Supapong Sirisorn, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, highlighted that the festival celebrates 65 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. “We are excited to bring the Thai and Nepalese people closer through the universal language of film,” Sirisorn said in a press release.
The festival will feature a lineup of award-winning Thai films. On August 30, attendees can enjoy *How to Make Millions Before Dies* and *Pad Thai the Movie*. August 31 will showcase *Together the Movie* and *Undertake*, while the final day, September 1, will present *Dream a Little Dream* and *Broken Sword Hero*.
In addition to the film screenings, visitors will have the opportunity to savor traditional Thai cuisine. The festival is expected to be a vibrant celebration of Thai culture and a platform for cultural exchange.
