Curriculum Development Center, Tribhuvan University issues notice for equivalent certificate

KATHMANDU: Certificates of medical education obtained from training centers and institutions that do not have the authority to award educational degrees including the Philippines, the equivalency provided by Tribhuvan University, Curriculum Development Center, Kirtipur, has been revoked by the decision of the Accreditation and Equivalence Determination Committee dated Mangsir 09, 2079.

Since it has come to the knowledge that such equivalences have been submitted to some institutions, this notice has been published for the information of all concerned about the fact that such equivalences will not be legally recognized even if someone submits the equivalences of the certificates obtained from the mentioned institutions with or without taking them from this center.

Also, it has been decided that equivalency cannot be granted in case of applying for equivalence without having passed any educational level, or having enrolled at a level higher than that level.
