ECAN Organizes Blood Donation Program for Rasuwa Flood Victims

EDUCAST, The Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) organized a blood donation program today at Salyan House, Bagbazar, Kathmandu, with the objective of supporting victims affected by the devastating floods in Rasuwa and surrounding areas.

The blood donation campaign was organized in association with Lions Club of Kathmandu Siddhartha Everest and Lions Clubs International, bringing together ECAN members, education consultants, and supporters for a humanitarian cause.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Suraj Silwal, 1st Secretary of ECAN, highlighted the importance of blood donation, particularly during emergencies and natural disasters. He encouraged members of the education consultancy community to come forward and contribute to saving lives.

Similarly, Mr. Ashik Karki, 2nd Secretary of ECAN, appealed to all ECAN members, or “ECANians,” to actively participate and support the campaign. He emphasized that collective participation would be essential to achieving the campaign’s target of 500 points/units of blood.

Mr. Govinda Khanal, Joint Treasurer of ECAN, expressed gratitude to all blood donors, ECAN members, supporting organizations, volunteers, and collaborators for their valuable contribution to the campaign. He said that such initiatives demonstrate the education consultancy sector’s commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian support.

The campaign reflects ECAN’s continued efforts to contribute to society beyond the field of education and to stand in solidarity with communities affected by natural disasters. The association has urged more members and well-wishers to participate in humanitarian initiatives and support those in need.

With the collective message of “Donate Blood, Save Lives,” the ECAN blood donation program aims to provide much-needed support to people affected by the Rasuwa floods while strengthening the spirit of community service and solidarity.
