Israel Provides Emergency Relief Support to Flood-Affected Communities in Dhading

    EDUCAST, The Embassy of Israel in Nepal has provided emergency humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the devastating floods in Ward No. 6, Baireni, Galchhi Rural Municipality, Dhading, one of the areas severely affected by the flash floods. Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Janan Bebar visited the affected area and handed over Emergency Go-Bags and boxes containing essential supplies to support individuals and families facing immediate challenges as a result of the floods.

    The assistance marks the first phase of the Embassy’s emergency relief response. The Embassy of Israel remains in close contact with relevant Nepali authorities to assess the evolving needs on the ground. Additional support and assistance will be provided in the coming days as further needs are identified.

    Ambassador Shmulik Arie Bass, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal said, “Israel stands with the people of Nepal in this difficult time. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the floods, and we hope this initial assistance will provide some immediate relief to affected communities. Israel remains committed to supporting Nepal as it responds to the crisis.” The Embassy of Israel extends its solidarity to the affected communities and to the Nepali authorities, first responders, and volunteers working on the ground to assist those impacted by the floods.
