French delegate inaugurates new building of UEMS

KATHMANDU: A French delegate has inaugurated the newly constructed Urban Environment Management Society (UEMS) building in Khokana.

National Secretary and Joint General Director of the French organization Secours Populaire, Corinne Makowski inaugurated the building. During the program, a representative from the French Embassy, Lila Devaradjalou, National Secretaries of the organization Sebastien Thollot and Dr Ismail Hassouneh were also present.

Speaking at the program, newly appointed Bagmati Province Assembly member Prem Bhakta Maharjan said that the government should bring various programs to stop youths from going to foreign employment.

Likewise, Ward Chairman of Lalitpur Metropolis-21 Rabindra Maharjan said that local skilled youths should be promoted within the country.

UEMS founder Prem Singh Maharjan thanked the donor organization for their support.

The new building has been constructed with the financial support of this French non-profit organization.

During the occasion, the French team also visited Shree Rudrayani Secondary School.
