EDUCAST, Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) Lalitpur branch recently convened its eighth annual general meeting, ushering in a new era of leadership. Under the guidance of the newly elected president, Arbind Singh, the executive team comprises Birendra Bajracharya as vice president, Sanam Kumar Maharjan as secretary, and Mukunda Bajagain as treasurer. Noteworthy members, including Ajit Kumar Thapa, Binod Kumar Bhattarai, Diwas Maharjan, and Yojana Hamal, were unanimously elected.
The meeting saw the approval of last year’s comprehensive income and expenditure report, meticulously presented by the branch treasurer, Sanam Kumar Maharjan. Additionally, a comprehensive overview of the branch’s activities was presented by Birendra Bajracharya, shedding light on the milestones achieved.
Chaired by the branch president, Upendra Dev Dhakal, the general meeting welcomed Sesharaj Bhattarai, the central president of ECAN, as the chief guest. ECAN expressed its enduring collaboration with the Lalitpur branch, emphasizing the sustained closeness between the two entities in the education industry. The organization extended its best wishes for the success of the general assembly and highlighted its commitment to future collaborations.
Distinguished guests, including the outgoing president of ECAN, Prakash Pandey, and former presidents Deepak Gurung and Bishnu Hari Pandey, conveyed their unwavering commitment to providing continued support and cooperation in the coming days. They also extended their heartfelt wishes for success to the newly elected leadership.
During the program, Upendra Dev Dhakal, the outgoing president of Lalitpur ECAN, pledged ongoing support for the newly formed working committee, emphasizing the collective dedication to ensuring the branch’s continuous progress.
