Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) Hosted 16th Picnic Program

    EDUCAST,The Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) recently organized its 16th picnic program at the Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort in Dhulikhel. The event, held on Saturday, February 12th, brought together ECAN officers, members, educational consultants, and notable personalities for a day of leisure and camaraderie.

    ECAN President, Seshraj Bhattarai, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and highlighted the significance of fostering a sense of unity and collaboration within the educational consultancy community. The picnic featured a range of entertainment activities, including dance, singing, games, and other engaging pursuits, providing participants with an opportunity to unwind and connect in a relaxed setting.

    Bhaba Nath Humagai, Secretary of the  Educational Consultancy Association (ECAN), emphasized the importance of events like the ECAN picnic in fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation among professionals. Such gatherings, he noted, play a crucial role in nurturing healthy competition and collaboration within the industry.

    ECAN General Secretary Deepak Bhusal conducted the program. Renowned singer, Indira Joshi, delighted attendees with a soulful performance, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event. The presence of esteemed personalities such as Rajendra Baral, Coordinator of the Federation of Educational Consulting Professionals, and Prajwal Basnet, President of the Educational Professional Consultancy Association Nepal (EPCAN), further elevated the occasion.

    The picnic program was made possible through the generous support of sponsors, with Webster University serving as the main sponsor. Other sponsors included Apply Global, University of Bridgeport, Sumegh, Hamlet, JLCT, Sky Line Travel, Elmira Travel & Tours, GSAT, and NMB, among others.

    Under the theme “Where memories are made,” the event aimed to strengthen relationships and foster connections among ECAN-affiliated consulting professionals. Govinda Khanal, Head of ECAN’s Extra Activities Department and coordinator of the picnic program, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting camaraderie and collaboration within the industry.

    The program concluded with expressions of gratitude to all those who contributed to its success, highlighting the spirit of teamwork and cooperation that characterized the event.
