EDUCAST, The event dedicated to seniors was filled with vibrant activities that entertained and enriched the lives of attendees. It all began with registration, efficiently managed by Khalti, as volunteers warmly welcomed everyone with free juice at the entrance.
Health was a top priority, with Norvic Hospital providing free checkups, including blood pressure and glucose level tests. Attendees then moved on to enjoy soothing hand and foot massages courtesy of Himalayan Healers, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
For food lovers, Mandala Events delivered a delightful spread featuring culinary delights from Chef Nabin Lama. Guests also indulged in free coffee from Himalayan Java and delicious yomari from The Village Cafe.
The day was packed with interactive sessions, starting with outdoor games like carom, chess, and ludo. Pottery making, led by Juju Kaji, added a creative touch to the festivities. Seniors also enjoyed makeovers by Kamal Shrestha and Puran Joshi, while Apollo Dental provided essential dental checkups.
In the seminar hall, tech literacy sessions were held, including a workshop on digital skills and a special session on geriatrics by Norvic Hospital’s expert. Meanwhile, theater sessions offered virtual tours of pilgrim places, captivating the audience with scenic visuals.
Artistic expression was encouraged with a painting and drawing session led by renowned artist Roshan Shrestha. For those seeking relaxation, yoga and meditation sessions were conducted by Yogi Ram Pandey in the amphitheater.
The day concluded on a high note with a nostalgic music concert, where Yogendra & Band serenaded the crowd with beloved 70s and 80s romantic songs. The event was a resounding success, blending wellness, creativity, and joy for all involved.
