V.S. Niketan Secondary School Welcomes New Students with Cultural Extravaganz

EDUCAST,  V.S. Niketan Secondary School, Tinkune, hosted a grand Welcome Program 2081 for its new 11 class Science and Management faculty students. The event aimed to create a warm and inspiring environment for the fresh batch of students while celebrating cultural diversity and academic aspirations.

The program began with a formal welcoming of the Chairperson, Founder Director, Academic Advisor, Principal, Vice Principal, and other esteemed guests, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the “Panas” by the respected Chairperson. The National Anthem brought a sense of unity and pride among all present.

Motivational speeches by Dr. Babin Pokharel, the Founder Director, and Miss Earth, Miss Sumana KC, inspired students to embrace challenges and aim for excellence. Adding to the event’s enthusiasm, Miss Kenisha Khadka from the Science faculty delivered a heartfelt welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of determination and teamwork in achieving success.

The second phase of the program featured vibrant cultural performances, including folk and modern dances, instrumental music, and live singing. Highlights included a Tharu Dance by Marmika and group, a modern remix performance of “Je Chhu Timro,” and the soulful “Man Ka Kura” by Koshan Magar. Patriotic songs and fusion dances further enriched the event, showcasing the incredible talent of V.S. Niketan’s students.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Bandana Lama, Vice Principal, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students, teachers, and organizing team for their dedication and efforts. She commended the performers for their creativity and excellence, which reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic education.

This cultural and academic celebration stands as a testament to V.S. Niketan’s unwavering dedication to fostering a platform where students thrive academically, socially, and artistically.
