EDUCAST, The Free Educational Consultancies’ Organization of Nepal (FECON) successfully conducted its 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 21, 2024, at Park Village Resort in Kathmandu.
The AGM featured a keynote address by Lisa Choegyal, Honorary Consul General of New Zealand to Nepal, who shared her extensive experience in the travel and trade sectors, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in education.
A significant highlight of the event was the panel discussion titled “Positioning Nepal as an International Study Destination: Opportunities and Challenges,” which explored strategies to attract international students to Nepal.
The AGM also served as a platform for FECON members to discuss the organization’s achievements over the past year and to outline strategic plans for the future, aiming to enhance the quality and transparency of educational consultancy services in Nepal.
