Macchhapuchhre IB World School Host Grade 9 Class Day

Lalitpur: Macchhapuchhre IB World School, located in Kusunti Height, Lalitpur, successfully organized its Grade 9 Class Day Programme, providing students with a vibrant platform to showcase their creative, cultural, and extracurricular talents.

The programme was grandly held in the presence of Chief Guest Shreedhar Dhungana. Special Guests for the event included Ujjwal Bhattarai, a Computer Engineering professional with 30 years of career experience in the United States, and Sunita Dhungana.The event commenced with a formal opening by the emcee, followed by the chairing ceremony, the national anthem, and the traditional watering of the Tulsi plant. CEO Dr. Binod Prasad Yadav delivered the welcome address, setting an inspiring tone for the event.

Students presented a diverse array of performances, starting with an orchestral rendition of Señorita, a Pushpanjali Bharatanatyam welcome dance, a gymnastics display, and a boys’ band performance featuring Time Bhane. A traditional Tharu dance highlighted Nepal’s rich cultural heritage, alongside an acoustic musical set featuring Maya Pirati, a Taekwondo demonstration, and modern dance routines.

An Arts Exhibition featured creative artwork produced by the Grade 9 students, while a themed Cultural Diversity Show brought the stage performances to a close. During the formal session, tokens of love were presented to the guests. Principal Hom Nath Acharya commended the students for their confidence, discipline, and artistic skill, encouraging them to continue balancing academic achievements with talent development.
