EU, Germany, and Luxembourg Hand Over Essential Aid to Nepal

    EDUCAST, Today, 67 tonnes of essential disaster relief supplies arrived safely in Nepal to support ongoing relief operations. European Union Ambassador-Designate Charles Whiteley, along with Benjamin Seidel, Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy, formally handed over the shipment to Honourable Mahabir Pun.

    The relief shipment includes 61 tonnes of supplies provided by Germany and 6 tonnes provided by Luxembourg, delivered via the European Union’s Civil Protection Mechanism. The assistance was dispatched in response to official requests from the Government of Nepal. Officials noted that additional flights carrying further relief materials are expected to land in Nepal soon to bolster continuous support efforts.
