EDUCAST, Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) is going to hold its General Convention on july 30. As the convention approaches, efforts are underway to establish new leadership for ECAN.So far, four individuals have expressed their desire to become the president of ECAN. Former president Bishnu Hari Pandey and current vice-president of the executive committee, Krishna Hari Kc have announced their candidacy for the post of president. Similarly, the first vice-president of the executive committee, Devidas Bhattarai, and the second vice-president, Sheshraj Bhattarai, have also declared their candidacy for the presidency. Deepak Raj Bhushal has been nominated as the candidate for the position of General Secretary in the new leadership of ECAN.
The current Secretary of ECAN, Bashu Dev Dahal, advisor Shriram Paudel, and Lakshman Paudel (Andrew) have also announced their candidacy for the position of General Secretary.
Bhabanath Humagain, Pushpa Raj Bhattarai, and Ashik Karki, current members of the executive committee, have submitted their candidacy for the position of Secretary. Efforts for consensus are ongoing as there are multiple candidates competing for these positions.
Apart from the president and general secretary, three vice-presidents, two secretaries, a treasurer, an assistant treasurer, and eleven members will be elected in ECAN.”
