Abul: Thank you very much. Namaste to all the viewers.

Host: You have an impressive 12 years of experience in the International Education industry, with a diverse background in Japan, the UK, and now Canada. Can you share a bit about your journey in the education sector?

 Abul: Certainly, my journey in the education industry began in 2011, and prior to that, I worked in various sectors of education. However, I found a sense of purpose and excitement in the education industry. It’s all about nurturing careers and witnessing students grow. Over the last 12 years, I’ve worked with different universities, and since 2016, I’ve been the Director of Marketing and Recruitment for the University of Le Bridge International College in Calgary.

Host: Speaking about Canada, it’s a top destination for international students. What makes Canada an attractive choice for higher education?

Abul: Canada is indeed a top destination for international students. The quality of life is exceptional, ranking third globally. Moreover, the future opportunities are significant, with the option to work after graduation and apply for permanent residency. Canada is welcoming, and considering the return on investment, it stands out compared to other countries with lower tuition fees, especially in comparison to Australia, the UK, and the US. Additionally, two of the world’s top 10 most livable cities are in Canada.

Host: Moving on to the ULethbridge International College Calgary, what are the unique selling points that make it an attractive choice for international students?

Abul: The University of Lethbridge International College is located in downtown Calgary, known as the friendliest city globally. Calgary also boasts the second-lowest cost of living among major Canadian cities. It’s a hub for corporate offices, startups, and is technologically advanced with 5G connectivity. Furthermore, Calgary enjoys 313 days of sunshine per year, addressing concerns about the weather. As a leading research university in Canada, it offers a compelling package for students.

Host: Can you shed some light on the ULethbridge International College Calgary ‘s curriculum and the variety of courses it offers?

Abul: Certainly, the college provides a pathway program called the University Transfer Program (UTP) Stage two, equivalent to the first year of university academically. This program is part of Navitas, emphasizing academic support, student services, and welfare. Majors include Business Management with options like Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Marketing, General Management, and HR.

Host: Financial considerations are crucial for students and parents. How does Navitas arrange affordable options for aspiring students while ensuring quality education?

 Abul: Affordability is a key concern, and we address it by providing entrance scholarships to international students. For the UTP Stage Two program at University of Le Bridge International College, we offer a $2,000 entrance scholarship, bringing down the tuition fees to $20,000. This, coupled with the higher job salaries in Calgary, makes it a financially attractive option.

Host: Navitas has a global presence. Could you share the popular destinations and the major universities and colleges it has strong ties with?

Abul: Navitas operates in more than 30 countries, with prominent destinations being Australia, Canada, and the UK. In Australia, we have partnerships with Curtin University and Western Sydney University. In Canada, I represent the University of Le Bridge in Calgary. Additionally, in the UK, we collaborate with London Brunel University and Brunel Pathway College.
